A great example of Indonesian coffee

Black Aswad's Bali Blue makes for a really fantastic cup of coffee.

One of the best coffees I've ever tasted was from Bali, so when I saw that Black Aswad was offering this, I knew that I had to try it. I tempered my expectations, since it's nearly impossible to compete with nostalgia, but I was pleasantly surprised to find just how good this Bali Blue is. Your experience with it will obviously depend on your brewing method, but having tried it as a standard drip coffee, pour-over, and French-pressed (all brewed a bit on the strong side), I can say that you should get a great cup out of this regardless of the tools you have on hand.

I'm definitely not a coffee expert, but I love the ability of single origin coffees to express the regions in which they were grown. The volcanic soil around Kintamani imparts the kind of rich flavors and smoothness you would expect of an Indonesian coffee, without the more floral notes you usually get with Hawaiian and Guatemalan coffees. If you like beans grown on the nearby islands of Java and Sumatra, you're sure to find this to your liking as well.

This is it!

This coffee is the best in-home coffee I've ever tasted, and I've been a coffee drinker for many years. The flavor is smooth and not at all bitter like many other coffees. I don't use as much sweetener and creamer as usual. This may turn me into a black coffee lover. We'll see.

This is it!

When I came to Bali few years ago, they have such a wonderful coffee blend that when you taste it , the nutty aroma with spicy smell, this makes me go back to Bali tho. When I see them on IG I literally order this coffee variety because I was hooked with the Bali coffee before and I when I prepare it on the morning Oh my G! It was amazing....indeed. Thank you so much for having this coffee. I will be ordering more soon.
